Phoenix Song is a small coven in the Omphalos-Tri-Cellan tradition established in Minnesota in the late 1990s. After several moves, Jenett (the High Priestess) has ended up back in the Boston area, where she grew up.

We focus on:

• Work with and service of our Gods (both communal and personal) in polytheistic practice.

• Patterns and cycles that lead to understanding and self-transformation.

• Music, rhythm, and movement in ritual and personal practice.

• Development of ourselves as competent and well-rounded witches and priests/priestesses including a development of personal practice in daily life.

Our tradition has a three-degree initiatory system as well as tradition-specific practices and mysteries, but much of our practice is similar to common Wiccan practice - we work in a ritual circle, celebrate the Esbats and Sabbats, and so on.

We gather for ritual, for discussion, for music and other creative arts, for crafts, and for good food and drink. Our ritual work is often reflective and introspective (divination, guided meditation, and interaction with deity are common) but we also do magical work together at times.

We value ongoing connections and relationships, mature commitment to religious practice, clear communication, and a willingness to learn new things. We have an ethic of intentional simplicity and at looking at how we do things as well as why.

SilverWood Coven is a Traditionalist Wiccan coven with a progressive outlook. The Celtic Traditionalist Gwyddonaid is based upon two textual sources. The first source is the Book of Shadows and other teachings of the New York Welsh Traditionalist Gwyddonaid (NYWTG or "Welsh Tradition") , as founded by Lord Gwydion. The Welsh Tradition was not and is not acknowledged as a member of the New England Covens of Traditionalist Witches (NECTW) family of traditions. The essential form or outline of the CTG Book of Shadows is that which derived from the reorganization of the Welsh Tradition materials by Lord Taliesin. By 1986, Taliesin had,with the help of Welsh Tradition Elders in the New York City area, reorganized the Welsh Tradition book into its current, widely disseminated form. As is traditional, no materials were removed from the book as received by Taliesin; rather, an attempt was made to logically organize the material to better suit both teacher and student. The second source is the Book of Shadows and other teachings of the Welsh Rite Traditionalist Gwyddonaid (WRTG) , as founded by Lord Gwion. Lord Gwion commingled the Welsh Tradition materials (as received from both Lady Vivienne and Taliesin) and the NECTW materials, the latter which were made made available to him susbequent to his initiation and elevation in that line. This commingling led to the founding of the WRTG. The WRTG line is accepted by the NECTW family of Traditions. Alsos Tartarou is an official grove of the Minoan Brotherhood, working in Hartford (CT) and Western Massachusetts.

The Minoan Brotherhood is a modern initiatory witchcraft tradition (founded in 1975 by Eddie Buczynski in New York City) that celebrates men-who-love-men. In founding this current, Buczynski created a powerful space where queer men could explore the Mysteries in ways that honor and celebrate our queerness as divine.

We honor Rhea and Her divine son Asterion. He is the Minotaur. He’s the Starry One, youth, desire, and brilliance. Our ritual work is explicitly queer, homoerotic, Dionysian, and ecstatic. We treat lustful desire as a legitimate vehicle to explore the Mysteries.

We are now welcoming seekers: men-who-love-men who feel drawn to this current, who want to train, to practice magic, and to participate in an initiatory lineage where queer experience is not merely tolerated but honored — central to the current itself. Temenos Kaineparadosis, or New Path Grove, is a grove of the Minoan Brotherhood, a gay male tradition of American Traditional Witchcraft, that balances traditional methodologies with progressive values. Through our actions, we seek to embrace two central teachings of the Minoan Brotherhood's founder, Lord Gwydion: being kalos (cultivation of inner beauty reflected outwardly), and having a wild and free spirit. In this way, we embrace eros, the divine energy that animates the universe, while following the path of liberation over license. We believe this is the first step to departing from our western overculture's patriarchal and regressive values, which have caused our current age of dis-ease. Thus, we step towards our goals of liberation of the Self, and autonomy through interconnectedness. Initiation is merely the beginning of one's journey. Therefore, we provide the seeker with all the tools he needs in a pre-initiatory study group called the Agela, named after Mycenaean training groups that readied their members for initiation into a hetairea, or brotherhood. The Agela provides a safe space for the seeker to receive a brief overview of the Minoan system, and receive training in mysticism that will aid them in climbing the Tree of Life through their initiatory journey.

New Path Grove was founded and is ran by Minos Boreas D.A. Minos Boreas D.A. was first initiated into the Craft in 2013, and later became a Minoan Brother in 2017 while earning his Master of Divinity studying Witchcraft and Paganism at Harvard Divinity School. Through years of training and study, he was elevated to Minos (high priest) in 2020. He has promoted the Craft in radio segments and in the news under his government name, and continues to work in the community. He has experience leading public ritual, and has worked as a gifted psychic in the past. His teaching style is both academic and extemporaneous, blending professional training with his own personal insight.

Ultimately, New Path Grove seeks to foster queer community, chosen family, and intentional evolutionary spirituality. While we refuse to accept money for grove teaching, we maintain rigorous standards for initiation, as well as elevation to the high priesthood. We teach leadership through apprenticeship, power through devotion, and valor through discretion. We take seriously our commitment as priests of the Gods, and to the queer community. We are open to all seekers over the age of 21 who contain both interest in and aptitude for our Work.

Sacred Grove of Somerville, MA is a newly forming group based on Celtic Wicca. We are seeking those both interested in joining and those interested in taking a leadership position. Here are some goals for this group:

1. I want this grove to be open to anyone interested in joining. What I mean by this is that this group will not be denied entry based on gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, race, and other typical discrimination topics.

2. I want this group to be as non-hierarchical as possible. I do understand the need to have leadership, but I do not see the need for tiered degrees and privileges based on what degree you hold in the group.

3. I want the leadership of the group to be volunteer-based with a council of three to five members serving at a time. We can hold elections annually or as often as needed. It is important to have a set leadership so that the group does not go dormant.

Note: Unfortunately, we will not have minors in the group unless their parent(s) are also a member. I would encourage anyone under the age of eighteen to seek out like-minded people of their own age at their schools.
