Athens Area Pagans, Inc. was organized in 2005 and has been meeting regularly since that summer. It was conceived as a social network for self-identified Pagans, and as a clearing-house for information for the Pagan community. In 2013, we became a fully tax-exempt 501(c)(3) religious organization.

We are not dogmatic or exclusionist: the founders could fairly be described as Wiccan-influenced Eclectics, but we have or have had Druids, Heathens, Feri, Cabalists and Thelemites among the regulars at different times. The working definition from the beginning was that anyone who felt excluded by the Big Religions and was comfortable with the word “Pagan” was invited.

Since our founding in 2005, we have had some sort of public meeting at 5 pm on Saturdays. As of Dec. 4, our regular meeting space is Rabbit Hole Studios at 1001 Winterville Rd., Athens. AAP is not usually a ritual group, but the River Temple of Athens, an Eclectic Pagan Circle, holds rituals regularly and has considerable overlap with the regular AAP crew. River Temple's rituals are announced on AAP's social media.

Pagans' Night Out (PNO) is a monthly social gathering held in Pagan and Neopagan communities around the world.

Atlanta's PNO meets on the second Thursday of the month starting November 9. Check the Meetup just in case before you head over.

No schedule, no agenda, no ritual, just hanging out, eating, and enjoying. RSVP is NOT required. We expect anywhere from 5 to 50 people each month. Bring your friends, spread the word.

Open to everyone in the Pagan and/or Witch community (even if you don't consider yourself to be pagan and/or a witch). Some will be solitaries, others will be seekers or initiates or spiritual leaders or elders. Solitaries are especially welcome - come connect with your community.

"Open to everyone" also means regardless of race, gender, gender expression, sexuality, nationality, ability, or veteran's status (if I missed something let me know and I'll add it).

For now we will meet at My Parent's Basement in Avondale Estates, GA. It's a restaurant, it's a bar, it's a comic book shop. It's great. Note: this establishment serves alcohol and the wait staff checks ID if ordering alcohol.

There is no fee to attend a PNO. If you want food or drinks you can pay individually with the wait staff.

Merry meet! )0( Circle of the Spiral Moon (CoSM) is a Wiccan-Witchcraft-based teaching coven rooted in an eclectic tradition. We are not lineaged, but we honor the many diverse paths that shape individual practice. Our rituals celebrate both the Goddess and the God equally, with each member free to work with the deities or archetypes of her chosen pantheon.

Founded as a study group in 2009, Circle of the Spiral Moon was formally established as a coven on Samhain of 2011. Our High Priestess, Syrai Ravenwynd, has been Pagan her entire life. She formally dedicated in 1993 and was initiated into Wicca in 1994. Though she no longer recalls her initiator’s lineage, Syrai walks her path with integrity and transparency, guiding others through wisdom and lived experience.

As a teaching coven, we welcome sincere applicants of all experience levels who seek spiritual growth, personal empowerment, and deep community.

Our curriculum is rigorous, requiring a minimum of three to five hours per week for independent study in addition to weekly meetings and rituals.

We meet in person every Wednesday evening from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Meetings alternate between members’ homes in the Gwinnett County area—specifically near the Mall of Georgia (Buford/Lawrenceville) and in Lilburn (near the Red Lobster). Please consider your commute time, including traffic, before applying.

Serendipity Spiritual Community follows a Progressive Wiccan tradition and is the center of a large and fairly eclectic community of individuals following similar or tangential paths. We pull from Wicca, Kabbalah, Voudoun, Energy working, and incorporate a large amount of song in our tradition.

Namaste Tchotchkes is a visual and spiritual Art Collective seeking to support diverse creators, makers, and practitioners through community building.

Spiritually, we are grounded in the Yogic tradition of overcoming suffering and imbalance in life, in order to become established in the experience of peace, creativity, and harmony. In practice, we center Neo-Pagan / Modern Witchcraft with an emphasis on accepting and incorporating all spiritual backgrounds. Inspired by 12-step programs - Take what you like and leave the rest.

Witchy Wares: Our Art Collective is a retail space with rotating hours. We sell hand-poured spell candles, bath salts, altar placards & art, bone jewelry, hand-made wands, burning bundles, spell bags, spell cards, and other generally magical wares.

Tarot Reading: We have 2-3 tarologists available. Book a reading through our website. Readings are typically $5/card, pick your own spread or we will suggest one for your inquiry.

Tarot Wise Wednesday: Held every 2nd Wednesday of the month from 6:30-8pm. Hosted by Newell Tarot, a lifelong tarologist and friend of the space. BYO-decks, beginners & lifelong practitioners will benefit from the dialogue! Oracle decks and observers welcome.

Moon Rituals & Wheel of the Year Sabbats: We host monthly rituals which are either practical magic group spellwork or celebrations of the celestial/seasonal shifts. Rituals are suggested donation typically $15-25 and all tools are provided.

We do not practice curses or hexes in our space - but we will banish a spirit!
