OUR LADY OF THE MOON
CITY: Castle Rock/Louviers
TRADITION OR SPIRITUAL PATH: Traditional Craft
CONTACT NAME: Ker Blackthorn
Prisca Maleficia Pactum: In Formation
Now seeking 12 members, aged 18-42, to join traditional coven operating out of the South Denver forests around the Pike (Louviers/Castle Rock area). There are 3 particular positions to be filled which include:
A scribe to record rites and rituals to compile into a grimoire
A high priestess
A director of "HR" to track our treasury and to record votes on coven matters (we are democratic, with every member of the coven having an equal say in every decision)
About Us: We are a traditionally modeled covenant being formed in the style of those recorded in the burning trials. Our rituals and deity names come primarily from the Papyri Graecae Magicae, the oldest magical text in existence, and by extension from the Orphic Mysteries and the corresponding grimoires left to us. It is our concern to take care of those of us involved in this covenant, which means that we will endeavor to help each other accomplish all things which we wish to accomplish in life, from career goals to more personal ones. In addition to using the Craft for these ends, this means that we will do our best to collectively help any member fallen on hard times who needs a place to sleep for the night, food, a job, or warmth. We will be our own bottom line and accomplish what the church and society have failed to do.
We will retain an environment of body positivity, reinforcing the self-love we have developed, and retain an environment of LGBTQ inclusivity and love irrespective of our own gender identity or sexual orientation.
We will strive to maintain an environment free of the dogma of the Church entirely: this includes reactionary inflammatory behavior and discussion, such as is common among the punkish demonstrations of Satanism. This is not about ethical superiority but rather cultivating an environment that is safe for everyone at any stage of their spiritual journey.
We shall be at full liberty to discuss with one another our opinions on deity, the afterlife, and Witchcraft outside of our essential library.
Within the boundaries of these social confines we will push one another to grow in our knowledge of the Craft. We allow ourselves the grace to feel deeply: to cry, to laugh, to rage, to lust, and to live in the freedom that all people ought to have.
The celebration of the Sabbats of the Wheel of the Year and the lunar Esbats shall be fundamental to us. The techniques used to prepare us for dream work and hedge jumping, so-called "astral travel", shall also be fundamental. Just as our ancestral predecessors did, we shall endeavor to fly together to attend the Witches' Sabbath each month when the Moon is Round.
It's ok to struggle or make mistakes.

WEBSITE: CIRCLE OF THE MOUNTAIN FIRE
The Circle of the Mountain Fire was founded to provide spiritual, social, and educational opportunities for Colorado Springs area Correllians and other local Pagans.
The Circle of the Mountain Fire is a Wiccan coven and Witan shrine for Colorado Springs with the Correllian Nativist Tradition of Wicca. However, being a part of the Correllian Tradition does not mean that we will exclude any followers or practices from any positive spiritual path. We do not hold with the idea of there being only ONE way to worship, celebrate, or work. Instead, while the Circle of the Mountain Fire, will be listed as a Correllian Shrine, it is to be OPEN to all people as a place for a positive and accepting faith, celebrations, and practices.
The Circle will hold routine rituals for all eight Sabbats and 13 Esbats (Full Moons) as the Wheel of the Year turns to worship the God and Goddess. The Circle also honors individual rites of passage and other special occasions deemed appropriate. We will make available a space for learning about Correllianism ... and about practices that are outside of the Correllian Nativist Tradition.
