ISIS VEILED

CITY: Galway

TRADITION OR SPIRITUAL PATH: Alexandrian Wicca

CONTACT NAME: Isabelle

EMAIL: isisveiledcoven@gmail.com

UPDATED: 3/24/2022

Isis Veiled is a close initiatory Alexandrian coven based in county Galway, Ireland. It is run by a third degree Alexandrian High Priestess from the Farrar line with over 30 year’s experience in witchcraft.

As a coven we tend to remain private, preferring focusing our time and energy towards the Work, yet we are open to meet genuine seekers who are keen to explore this path. The coven meets for the sabbats and the esbats. Training is on a one to one ongoing basis according to the tradition. Initial training, i.e. a guided course of study on the foundations of the magical arts and all that it entails is given within our outer court, which when successfully completed may lead to initiation into the Coven.

Only serious courteous queries will be answered. These should contain: a letter of personal introduction ( full name / age and place of residence), an outline of your spiritual journey and why you may be interested into joining an Alexandrian coven. One liner demanding emails will go unanswered.

SERPENT COVEN

CITY: Dublin

TRADITION OR SPIRITUAL PATH: Alexandrian Wicca

CONTACT NAME: Barbara Lee

EMAIL: serpentcovendublin@gmail.com

UPDATED: 12/21/2022

Serpent Coven is an Alexandrian Coven based in County Dublin. It is run by Barbara Lee a third degree High Priestess from the Farrar line, who was initiated in 1980 and has been running a coven since 1982, and her partner, who is a third degree High Priest by her hand. The coven was founded at Lughnasadh 2004, with a strong mixture of neophytes and elders, all of whom had trained with Barbara previously. Alexandrian Wicca is essentially on oathbound, initiatory, experiential, earth based fertility religion, whose Priests and Priestesses constitute a significant part of the hardest working element of the Western mystery tradition. As a coven working within an oathbound tradition we tend to keep a low profile most of the time, but are always open to hear from seekers who may be interested in joining our numbers, and exploring our path. We meet on a regular basis, celebrating the eight Sabbats and the phases of the Moon. Training is ongoing and we expect everyone to work from a point of self- motivation and direction. Membership requirements are extremely high, with a good knowledge of the basics of witchcraft and magic being required beforehand, as well as approval from each member of the coven. Therefore, there is a long meet and greet process before being accepted and no application to join is guaranteed. The following is an indication of what would be expected from an applicant: Basic knowledge of magical ethics and of how ritual works, familiarity with the history and mythology of deity, basic knowledge of the history of witchcraft and Wicca, familiarity with the basic books and authors of the Craft, basic knowledge of other spiritual paths, including the various pagan paths. Successful seekers can expect to spend at least a year following a course of study, including practical and written work before initiation is considered. We appreciate that the path of the seeker can be a difficult one, and recommend that should you find a coven that you think is a good match for you, that you ask for the lineage of that coven's High Priest and High Priestess. This should be freely given, and is common practice. We would also suggest that you contact their upline initiators where possible. Contact with us can be made via email and all enquiries will be treated with the utmost confidentiality.
