All covens are as different as the people within them. Ours is a teaching coven, so our goal is to share knowledge and resources to help others have easier access to spiritual information. We believe that no matter your age, experience, or background, every person has something to learn and something to teach. Even the wisest Sage or Crone can learn a thing or two from beginner witches. And so, all are welcome to host workshops, create educational material, lead rituals, etc. The community that we are growing is like a beautiful tree, with each person building a branch of knowledge to share with others.

Solar Court Coven is an American Folkloric Witchcraft Neo-Tradition. Established in 2017, we are an initiatory tradition centered around empowerment, individuality, and arcane wisdom. We venerate the Dark Goddess and embody Left-Hand Path philosophies. We believe in igniting the Black Flame within our witches and seeking to be of service to our community.Honoring celestial cycles of the cosmos and earth as well as observing ceremonial ritual is at the heart of our coven’s practice. The coven hosts four open sabbats a year. 21 years or older required. The SCC supports our witch’s path to apotheosis and holding close the 5 pillars of the magi. Witchcraft and Inclusive Magic of Kentuckiana is a group for witches, pagans, and other ethical spiritualists that is dedicated to creating an inclusive, educational, and companionable experience for those involved. We do not discriminate against practices or paths, as long as the individual is doing so ethically and in line with the group’s culture and values.
A few notes about expectations; WIMK’s priority is to create a place that is as safe as possible for the community’s most at risk members, including most notably those affected by racism, transphobia, homophobia, ableism, classism, and other oppressions.
We are Intersectional and expect members to address their privileges when interacting in the group and to be open to accountability.
To better facilitate the safer space we would like for our group to be for others we do not allow cultural appropriation. Cultural appropriation can include a wide array of sacred traditions, theologies, medicines/ingredients, etc. from American Indigenous practices, African or African-American practices, Aboriginal practices, Romani folk practices, among others.
